Opening window on history

Fresh designs for the £100million Marischal Square development in Aberdeen will allow the public a clearer view of the historic Provost Skene’s House.

The revised set of project visuals were revealed to councillors last night on the eve of the second phase of public consultation which begins at Aberdeen Art Gallery today.

St Nicholas House, the city council’s former headquarters, is currently being demolished and the buildings around the 16th-century landmark have already been reduced to rubble.
