Dons not hung up against bottom teams
Aberdeen manager Derek McInnes is confident his team can start making the most of matches against the bottom six sides in the Premiership.
The Dons have excelled against their nearest rivals in the race to finish best of the rest behind Celtic this season, having already defeated Caley Thistle, Dundee United, Motherwell and St Johnstone. Aside from being beaten home and away by leaders Celtic, the Dons’ only defeats this season have come against Hearts and Ross County, the league’s bottom two sides.
The Reds face bottom-six opposition this weekend when St Mirren visit Pittodrie, with Aberdeen having already drawn 1-1 against the Buddies at Paisley in September.
