Robbie homes in on games
Aberdeen swimmer Robbie Renwick hopes the most dramatic Duel in the Pool to date has provided a taster of what is to come at Glasgow 2014.
The two-day event at the city’s Tollcross Swimming Centre – also the venue for the Commonwealth Games next summer – ended with Team US triumphing against the European Allstars by a single point in a tense tiebreaker.
The Americans had never lost any of their previous Duels against either Australia or Europe and they managed to maintain their winning record after both teams were locked on 131 points after 30 events.
