McInnes urges Dons to pile on misery for County

Aberdeen manager Derek McInnes says there is no time for his side to dwell on the Boxing Day defeat by Motherwell ahead of Ross County’s visit to Pittodrie tomorrow.

The Dons had won four games in a row prior to Thursday’s 1-0 reverse and McInnes has urged his players to respond to the loss in a positive manner by defeating the struggling Staggies.

Derek Adams’s County travel to Pittodrie on the back of a particularly poor run of form in which they have taken only one point from the last possible 24 in the Scottish Premiership. McInnes wants his side to heap further misery on the Dingwall side and repay the Aberdeen faithful after missing out on the opportunity to move up to second on Thursday.
