McInnes rallies his Dons for a united derby show
Aberdeen manager Derek McInnes says Dundee United's poor run of form will count for nothing when the sides meet at Tannadice in an eagerly anticipated New Firm derby on New Year's Day.
Jackie McNamara's young Tangerines have caught the eye this season, particularly during a purple patch in which they scored 21 goals in a five-match winning streak.
However, the Tannadice men have endured a Christmas hangover, suffering a 4-1 defeat by St Mirren on Boxing Day before a 3-0 Tayside derby defeat by St Johnstone.
