McInnes delight as he gets Tate and still hopeful on Hector
Aberdeen manager Derek McInnes has not given up hope of bringing Michael Hector back to Pittodrie this month despite yesterday signing Alan Tate as his replacement.
Former Swansea captain Tate has joined the Dons on loan from the English Premier League club until the end of the season and is in the squad for tomorrow’s game at Kilmarnock.
The match will be Hector’s final appearance before he returns to Championship Reading but McInnes is keen on bringing Hector back before the window closes.
