Lodge ‘left to rot’ in revival plan U-turn

A HISTORIC building in the middle of a Moray park could be left to rot under shock new plans tabled by council officials.

Derelict Grant Lodge had been in line to be given a new lease of life as a registrar’s, family history centre and tourist information office.

But members of the local authority will be urged next week to scrap a study into the proposals – despite the fact £62,000 has already been spent.
