Woman suffers leg injuries in rush-hour crash on A90
A woman was taken to hospital with leg injuries last night after her car crashed on one of the north-east’s busiest roads during rush-hour.
The A90 Aberdeen to Dundee road was closed in both directions following the one-vehicle accident which happened at the Marywell junction shortly after 5pm.
The car landed on its side and 15 firefighters from Altens and North Anderson Drive stations had to stabilise the vehicle before using cutting gear to free the casualty. Part of the roof of the black Vauxhall Corsa was cut away and shattered glass lay all over the road.
