Motorists’ weather warning

Wintry conditions caused disruption to ferry services and hazardous driving conditions on roads across the north west yesterday.

And more widespread snow was last night being forecast for overnight and today.

Yesterday morning, the trunk roads agency, BEAR Scotland, issued a warning to motorists in the north west. An agency spokes-woman said: “Snow and sleet conditions are making for difficult driving conditions on the A9 Drumochter, A82 Tyndrum, A83 Rest and Be Thankful, A85 Glen Ogle and A87 Glenshiel.”
