Rivals unite as new council cuts agreed
COUNCILLORS presented a united front yesterday as they agreed further cuts to Moray Council’s budget.
The decision was one of the few times in the authority’s history that a savings plan was approved by everyone in the council chamber.
A cross-party group has spent nine months looking at every area of the authority’s operation to find further cutbacks and efficiencies.
