Little margin for error as Muirhead’s gamble fails
Eve Muirhead’s British women curlers lost their second game of round-robin qualifying to unbeaten Canada yesterday when a brave attempt at a final-stone triple take-out just failed.
The 6-9 loss to Canada means the margin for error is diminishing.
On just one win so far, the British women are in seventh place on the rankings, only two wins behind joint leaders Canada and Switzerland.
