Residents fear insurers will not cover them for flooding
Stonehaven residents could be left without insurance cover to protect them against the aftermath of future floods.
Home and business owners claim they are being left high and dry by insurance companies as they seek to renew their policies.
And yesterday north-east politicians said residents of the town should not be further penalised by the insurance firms following serious flooding in the town in December 2012 and November 2009.
