New ‘super-schools’ lead £70m shake-up

RADICAL plans to create “super-schools”, merge coastal primaries and close a secondary have been unveiled by Moray Council.

The proposals for the future of education were drafted after an in-depth review.

Independent consultants have scrutinised the area’s eight academies and 45 primaries, which need a £70million investment to bring them up to scratch.
