Salmond meets public and condemns jet-set Cameron
Alex Salmond and his Cabinet discussed referendum issues with about 200 people in the north-east yesterday – while David Cameron was accused of “jetting in and out” without speaking to the public.
The first minister gave a 30-minute speech at Portlethen Parish Church before he and his ministers answered 15 questions from those present.
Top of Mr Salmond’s agenda was oil and gas, but he also answered questions on the future of the NHS, the armed forces, currency and free education.
