Vintage vehicles head for new location

THOUGH it has moved to a new location, the Kildrummy Vintage Rally is still very much alive and kicking for 2008.

The Kildrummy Veteran and Vintage Vehicles Club will run its 51st Annual Kildrummy Vintage Rally and Run on Sunday, June 8, at the Deeside Activity Park, Dess, on Royal Deeside.

There will be the usual concours judging for those wishing to submit their vehicles for scrutiny, and for those wishing to participate, an hour-long road run in the scenic area around the venue.

Vehicles over 25 years of age are welcomed and there will be classes for veteran, vintage, post-vintage and classic vehicles. The bulk of entries are expected to be motor cars, but there are classes for commercial vehicles and motorcycles.

Trophies for successful competitors will be awarded at the end of the afternoon.

The venue has many activities and attractions to add to the interest for passengers and families of vintage car enthusiasts.
