ARTWORK featuring 10 televisions, each displaying rolling videos of the countryside, has gone on display at an exhibition in the heart of rural Aberdeenshire.

Its creator, Kelly Connor, 37, is one of seven students of Aberdeen’s Gray’s School of Art exhibiting work at Corse art space, in Craigievar, near Alford.

Mrs Connor’s work sits alongside other creations by Jamie Donald, Nicol Dourala, Mark Duguid, Donna Ferenth, Ting Fang Hsueh and Martin Nelson, all postgraduate students of the fine art course.

The three-day exhibition features a mixture of work, from multimedia installations to prints and live art.

It opened on Saturday with an artistic experiment by Merlyn Riggs, from Kemnay, who transformed the space into a tea room to encourage those who would not otherwise speak to each other to interact.

Fergus Connor, artistic director of Corse, which is based in the home he shares with Mrs Connor, said the exhibition has been a resounding success, attracting more than 70 people on Saturday. It will run until Tuesday and open from 1pm till 5pm each day.
