THE Noughties trend for knitting will hit Aberdeen in June at John Lewis.

The store will be playing host to a special workshop with Debbie Abrahams, Rowan design consultant and author, to teach people some new knitting techniques.

Suitable for knitters who can already knit one, purl one and want to have a go at knitting with beads, Debbie will demonstrate how to thread beads easily, read a pattern, knit with beads using the slip-stitch method and how to design your own beaded pattern.
