A FASHION show in aid of a project to help underprivileged children in India has raised £1,000.
It was held at Norwood Hall Hotel in Aberdeen under the auspices of the city’s St Nicholas Rotary Club.
Organiser May Dow, a former model, recruited volunteers of all ages to display the clothes from Indigo, Aberdeen, and Fountain, Inverurie.
Under the umbrella of the Little Drops charity, Portlethen Golf Club professional Muriel Thomson is raising funds to send 24 youngsters to an English-speaking school in Chennai, formerly Madras.
“We also help the youngsters with medical checks twice a year, and they are even learning golf,” said Muriel.
