Doherty emerges dazed and confused

ROCK star Pete Doherty emerged from prison in exactly the same style as he arrived for his court appearances – somewhat confused and surrounded by a media scrum.

Many will wonder what good his experiences on the inside have achieved, even although he pushed the patience of the courts to the point where they had no alternative. The value of short sentences will again be discussed, especially as he got 14 weeks and served 29 days. At least he had a certificate to prove his time inside was not totally wasted, though, and it will probably make a good song.
