A degree late for course

A NORTH-EAST student has graduated with first class honours after joining her management course in third year. Jenna Ely, of McGregor Close, Peterhead, joined the degree course at Robert Gordon University after spending two years studying for an HND. After getting her qualification at Banff and Buchan College, the former Peterhead Academy pupil joined the RGU course in 2006.

Jenna, 21, said: “Initially, when I started at RGU I was very concerned I would not manage the higher standard of work expected from us.”

Jenna plans to continue working for international service provider BIS Salamis, but is thinking about going into teaching in the future.
