Music sessions in tune with aims of festival

A SERIES of late-night music sessions will be hosted by Aberdeen’s Lemon Tree as part of the Aberdeen International Youth Festival.

Later . . . at the Lemon Tree will give local and international performers, from countries including New Zealand, Uganda and Canada, a chance to showcase their talents at the West North Street venue.

Festival director Stewart Aitken said: “The event reflects the diversity of AIYF, featuring local bands and performers from around the globe.” The sessions, sponsored by Shell, aim to attract new audiences to the festival.

Later . . . at the Lemon Tree runs from July 31 to August 9.
