ABERDEEN-BASED Converged Communication Solutions said yesterday it had landed more than £160,000 worth of contracts last month.
The deals include a £60,000 win from ABSL Power Solutions.
Converged will be providing high-speed internet connections and disaster- recovery functions between ABSL’s Thurso and Oxfordshire sites.
ABSL designs, develops and manufactures advanced portable power products.
This win sees Converged entering the defence, space and aerospace sectors and diversifying from the oil and gas industry.
Business-development director Andy Pearson said: “We are delighted to have won this contract which allows Converged to service a new client in an exciting new sector.”
The company, established by Mr Pearson and Neil Christie in 2006, has developed innovative communication services for a variety of businesses, from smaller firms to blue-chip companies on a local, national and international level.
Converged is on target for a turnover of £1.5million next year, after reporting steady growth throughout 2008.
It employs three staff, but plans to expand its team by the end of this year.
