QUEEN’S PARK manager Gardner Speirs has signed a contract extension just eight months after leaving his assistant manager’s job at Partick Thistle to take charge of the Second Division club.
Speirs has signed a two-year extension with Queen’s Park.
He said: “I was delighted when the club approached me to discuss a new contract. It has been an exciting and challenging start to my job here with rebuilding the team during the summer.”

ABERDEENSHIRE club Kemnay have been awarded the SFA standard quality mark award recognising the club’s organisation, admini-stration, training and coaching have all met the stated qualification criteria. More than 200 children are involved at Kemnay, with teams run from ages of five to 15.
