Gordonians look to get back on track after poor start
Countesswells club set to ring changes

SCOTTISH National League Division 3 Gordonians intend to relaunch their season tomorrow at home to Grangemouth Stags after a poor start.
Club president and assistant coach Chris Snape said: “We will be ringing the changes for a hugely important game.
“With most of our students back, we have lots of choices, but it is a must-win game or else we will be in relegation trouble.”
Snape welcomes back flanker Gus Willis, an abrasive player who will add spice to midfield.
Gordonians, currently 10th in Division 3 after losing away at Marr last weekend, have played well in patches, but have not settled into their new place in the National League, although it would be a surprise if they failed to see off their beleaguered Stirlingshire opponents.
Gordonians, meanwhile, were the recipients of a new scrummaging machine thanks to the generosity of one of their supporters.
Graeme Smith, from Aberdeen, donated the machine to the Countesswells club.
The equipment will also be used by students at Robert Gordon University and Robert Gordon’s College.
Snape said: “We have not been enjoying the best of seasons since being promoted to National League 3, perhaps Graeme's kind gift will improve our scrum pieces.”
