Malcolm and Christiansen crowned club champions

MARK Malcolm and Katie Christiansen have been crowned club champions at the David Lloyd tennis centre in Aberdeen.
Malcolm defeated Hamish Morrison 7-5, 7-6 in the final to lift the trophy while Christiansen got the better of Abby Hayes to claim a 7-5, 6-3 win.
The men’s doubles prize went to Martin Harbord and Darren Nicol following a 6-4, 6-3 win against Colin Hopkins and Callum Reid.
The women’s doubles were won 3-6, 6-2, 6-3 by Shona Gatt and Carol Wilson in their final against Katie Christiansen and Vikki Paterson.
Mike Kay and Christiansen joined forces to defeat Morrison and Gillian Athanas 6-2, 6-2 in the mixed final.
