Dormer, you are scraping the bottom of the barrel here. I an unaware of any political opposition to the 2010 bill, it is a sort of tidy up job, recommended by the Law Commission. Leases in Scotland can extend to 999 years and this only applies to leases with a annual rent of less than a £100.
