I think that we can agree that the police and indeed the courts, are bound too heavily by political correctness and petty legal delicacies Alan. I agree that the cases you mention are unfortunate, but you will find similar in most, if not all, forces in the UK. As I said previously, our police are mere mortals and reflect society as it is sadly.
