Time to crack on

DARE I suggest that it is now time to crack on with seasonal gardening jobs? We are now into the fifth month and I’m looking forward to divesting myself of the semmit in another few weeks.

If you are growing on your own bedding plants, this is the stage they should be at right now – growing in a greenhouse with plenty ventilation and in full light

This is a real cracker

I FIELDED a question last week that I thought had to be answered rather tactfully because, otherwise, someone was likely to be upset. Brown patches on the lawn

LAST Friday, I managed to give our front lawn a cut for the first time. New broom

HOW many part-empty bags, cartons, bottles, skoosher bottles, sachets of chemicals, fertilisers, soil improvers, and so on, do you have knocking about in corners of the garage, shed or greenhouse right now? I certainly found a couple the other day. What do you do in the circumstances?
