Two drivers have been reported for allegedly driving at 48mph and 33mph in a 20mph zone outside Whiteness school in Shetland.
A woman has been taken to Raigmore Hospital after her car went off the A9 at Tore Roundabout this afternoon. She was described as “conscious and breathing” when she taken away in an ambulance.
One lane has reopened on the A832 between Wick and Watten after an incident involving three vehicles this morning. Police say there are no serious injuries.
Mallaig lifeboat rescued another boat which had got into difficulty off the west coast last night. The rescue involved towing a small boat into harbour after its engine failed.
