Katie Price has said she is “re-evaluating” her life and is keen to downsize and get rid of her pink cars, following a challenging year.

The reality TV star was recently given a three-month driving ban for getting behind the wheel while disqualified and without insurance, and was last year arrested on suspicion of drink-driving.

Her finances were also in the spotlight, with the potential risk of bankruptcy.

The former glamour model, who was once estimated to be worth £40 million, was known for driving bright pink vehicles, including the pink 4×4 she recently attempted to sell on eBay.

Price told ITV’s Loose Women that she is “done with pink” and she believes the colour has “become an omen now”.

She said: “I’m getting rid of all the pink, I’m actually being sensible.

“At the moment, because I’m re-evaluating my life and changing everything for the good … I don’t need an 11-bedroom house.

“I have the kids half and half, and the other half I’m just with Harvey, and he goes to bed at half seven.

“So I’m in this house in the country on my own and I feel vulnerable. I want a five or six-bedroom house, new, everything done, so I don’t have to worry about doing it up, and you can walk in.

“When I walk in my house now, so much needs doing, it’s a headache. I want to walk in the house and it’s a clear mind.”

Price, 40, discussed the criticism she received last year when her untidy mansion appeared on Keith Lemon’s Through The Keyhole programme.

“I always buy houses that are really run down, and if you think, my house is 11 bedrooms and three floors, everything needs doing, it’s an endless money pit, so I focus on things that need doing,” she said.

She added that it is now “completely different” inside, but she is keen to move to a smaller home with Harvey, the eldest of her five children.

Price told the programme that she “self-medicated on drugs” over the past year, and that it was “disgusting”, but it was her way of dealing with personal difficulties.

The former I’m A Celebrity star split from husband Kieran Hayler, with whom she has two children, last year.

Price also has two children from her previous marriage to Peter Andre, as well as Harvey with former footballer Dwight Yorke.
