ITV will launch a new entertainment show called Game Of Talents, which will see contestants try to uncover the secret talents of the public for a chance to win a cash prize.

Each episode will see contestants team up with a celebrity to work out the surprising hidden talents of eight mystery performers.

They will try to work out if they can tell the difference between an opera singer and a weightlifter, or an acrobat and a fire eater, based solely on their appearance and some clues.

Amelia Brown, managing director of production company Thames, which also makes Britain’s Got Talent, said: “Game Of Talents is a winning format and we can’t wait to bring it – along with lots of laughs, surprises and fun – to a UK audience.

“The show has a unique combination of performances mixed with game play that will entertain families ranging from young and old and everyone in between.”

Katie Rawcliffe, head of entertainment commissioning for ITV, said: “This programme offers a different and hilarious take on the talent show and we can’t wait to bring it to our viewers in 2021.”

The format, which was devised by production company Fremantle, was first launched in Spain, where it is now entering its third season.

The seven hour-long episodes will air on ITV in 2021.
