SPONSORED: When selling your Highland business, it has to be with ASG

ASG Commercial reported a record number of sales in 2017 and the momentum from that bumper year keeps rolling on.

The key to any business success is the ability to drive activity and take positive steps when opportunities arise.

The success of the hospitality sector through rising patronage across the Highlands is driving sound business results.

“We gather statistics on our own trading activity,” states Paul Hart, Director of Commercial Sales. “We monitor enquiries, viewings and sales for comparative management purposes. In the period from 2014-2017 enquiries have shown a 3-fold increase, the number of viewings organised in 2014 were in the 200s and in 2017, 850 viewings were recorded.”

In concert with the previous data, sales on ASG Commercial’s books also recorded more than a threefold increase across the Highlands. Indicators for the first quarter of 2018 show performance outstripping outcomes for the comparative period in 2017.

Paul Hart added: “We accept there may well be challenges ahead but we are confident that despite any negativity emanating from the ‘Brexit doomsayers’ there are grounds to remain optimistic.”

Upon being asked ‘how do ASG Commercial keep increasing sales?’ He replied: “We know our sector within the Highlands, focus on our market and do not try to be all things to all people and our practices and procedures are honed to ensure we can drive sales.

“We cannot control all aspects of sales but have a vast range of skills and contacts which enable ASG Commercial to actively manage the sales process.”

Externally, surveyors and banks are being positive within the current climate and this bodes well for the immediate future. As long as we continue to drive the broadest marketing strategy for our clients, we increase the possibilities of a positive outcome.

Our sole aim is to sell businesses and should anyone be thinking of selling in the immediate future we would be happy to provide a no-obligation valuation.
