A farming family from the north-east have helped raise more than £10,000 for charity.
Gavin Ross, who farms at Wardhead, Strichen, launched a fundraising mission as part of celebrations to mark his 40th birthday.
The north-east farmer and his wife, Lindsey, decided to host a dinner dance at Strichen Village Hall to raise funds for three charities.
The charities chosen by the couple are: rural charity RSABI, Cancer Research UK and Campbill Blair Drummond which is a community for adults with learning disabilities.
A grand total of £10,800 was raised and split between the three charities.Mr Ross said: “Lindsey and I would like to thank everyone who contributed for their support.”
The couple handed over the cash to representatives from the three charities at Stirling Agricultural Centre.
