North-east showjumpers triumph at local competition

Showjumpers were out in force at the two-day British Showjumping competition at the Cabin Equestrian Centre, Inverurie.
Following her triumph at the Horse of the Year Show in Birmingham last month, Nicole Lockhead Anderson won two classes over the weekend with Topwood Tandarra securing victory in the Nupafeed Supplements senior discovery on the Saturday and Connollys Red Mills the senior newcomers 1.10m open on the Sunday.
Securing a win in Saturday’s Connollys Red Mills senior newcomers 1.10m open was Wills Oaken on Ballbreaker. The combination also took third place in the senior foxhunter 1.20m open.
Yolanda Geddie enjoyed a successful weekend with her Bishopston horses, securing places in Saturday’s senior foxhunter 1.20m open and winning the national 1.30 open with Bishopston Zicher.
Winning Sunday’s senior foxhunter 1.20m open and the only competitor in the class to ride a double clear was James Scullion on Zwift Sow.
