Milk giant Muller offers new service to its suppliers

Milk processor Muller has launched a new service for its non-aligned farmer suppliers.

The company said its Muller Farm Insight service offered producers valuable real time data, welfare tools and benchmarking which could lead to significant improvements and cost savings on their farms.

The optional service will be fully funded by Muller and provided by AB Sustain.

Farmers who wish to make use of the service will be visited by a farm adviser who will walk the herd with the farmer to assess and agree the herd’s current status.

“From showcasing herd performance in simple monetary terms and highlighting potential margin gains, to identifying cost savings and best practice benchmarking, the launch of Müller Farm Insight marks a real milestone as we continue to help our supplying farmers build successful dairy businesses for the future,” said Muller’s agriculture director, Rob Hutchinson.
