Ploughmen and women will travel to Maud this weekend for the 33rd annual Grampian Supermatch.
The contest, organised by the Grampian Supermatch Ploughing Association, takes place on Saturday at Puddlecroft.
“Nearly 40 ploughmen will compete for the championship after qualifying by competing at local matches in the area; showing their skills will be a few former world and Scottish champions,” said association secretary Alison Ironside.
She said the match will also feature a demonstration from world champion horse ploughman Jim Elliot.
