CATTLE
Highland: Grace Noble, Larchfield, Strachan, Banchory, with three-year-old heifer Hazel 12th of Knockendon. She was bought last October in Oban and is by James Beusach of An Sidhean and out of Hazel 5th of Knockendon. She was first at Banchory, New Deer, Echt, Tarland and Turriff.

Reserve – Grace Noble with two-year-old heifer Una A Ghlinne of Brue, which was bought as a six-month-old calf from the Brue fold on the Isle of Lewis. She has had two show seasons.
Aberdeen-Angus: Glenrinnes Farms, Dufftown, with three-year-old bull Logie Limited Edition. Bred by Messrs Bruce at Logie and bought at Stirling in February 2014 for 8,000gn, this one is by Blelack Hildalgo and out of Logie Lady. He was breed champion at Echt and Nairn.

Reserve – A & K Rhind & Son, Newton of Struthers, Kinloss, Moray, with home-bred 10-month-old heifer calf Newton-Struthers Jaunerical. She is by Newton-Struthers Erysium and out of a two-year-old heifer that stood champion at Grantown with this one inside last year. She was reserve female champion at Turriff.
Beef Shorthorn: Glenrinnes Farms with home-bred two-year-old heifer Glenrinnes Gabrielle. She is by Chapelton Ensign and out of Glenrinnes Thistle. She was female champion at Nairn.

Reserve – Alvie Farm, Alvie Estate, Kincraig, Inverness-shire, with home-bred February-2014 born heifer Alvie Hadara Ramsden, which is by Sprys Patent Ace G38 and out of Alvie Elsie Jane Ramsden. She was first at Turriff.
Charolais: John Irvine and Sons, Inverlochy, Tomintoul, with December-2013 born bull Kilbline Instigator. Bought from Ireland four months ago, he is by Oscar. He stood champion at Nairn and Black Isle.

Reserve – John Irvine and Sons, with two-year-old heifer Inverlochy Ingris, which is by Maerdy Eryr and out of Inverlochy Babe. She was champion at Turriff and reserve at Nairn and Black Isle.
Limousin: Mr & Mrs Stephen Irvine & Sons, Braehead, Drummuir, Keith, with January-2014 born bull Gunnerfleet Joplin which is one of the first sons of Maraiscote Graffiti and out of Gunnerfleet Fortunas. He was bought in Carlisle in May and stood reserve at Turriff.

Reserve – Garry Patterson, Upper Forgie, Aultmore, Keith, with home-bred 14-month-old heifer Aultside Jazz, which is by Dinmore Goldcrest and out of Emslies Erotic.
Simmental: Jimmy and Iain Green, of Corskie, Garmouth, Fochabers, with the 45,000gn bull Bel Dhu Capercaillie. Bred by Billy and Anne Macpherson, of Blackford, Croy, Inverness, this one is by Hockenhull Waterloo and out of Blackford Wagtail. He was bought by the Greens in Stirling in February 2013 and holds the UK record for the highest priced Simmental. He stood beef interbreed champion at Echt, and breed champion at New Deer, Nairn and Turriff. He was reserve interbreed champion at Black Isle.

Reserve – Jimmy and Iain Green, with heifer Corskie Emerald, by Dirnanean Bradley and out of Corskie Jools 2. She stood reserve at Echt, New Deer, Nairn, and Black Isle, and champion continental at Sutherland.
British Blonde: Alison Watt, Birkenburn, Keith, with Strathisla Jodie, which is by Hadley Esquire and out of Strathisla Venus. She was champion at Banchory and Black Isle as well as reserve at Turriff.

Reserve – Alison Watt with home-bred six-year-old cow Strathisla Ellen, by a French bull called Super and out of Strathisla April. She was champion at New Deer.
British Blue: Garry Patterson with home-bred yearling bull Aultmore Jumbo, which is by Gregmaur Osman and out of Neterdale Deva. He was champion at Echt and champion of the any other continental breed section at New Deer. He also stood reserve male champion at Turriff.

Reserve – Garry Patterson with a home-bred 11-month-old heifer Aultmore J-Lo. She is by Aultmore Gangster and out of College Valley Gemma. She was champion at Turriff and her mother stood champion at Banchory two years ago.
Any other pure breed: Auchmacoy Estate, Ellon, with a home-bred two-year-old Lincoln Red heifer called Auchmacoy Bianca. She is by Auchmacoy Langworth and was champion at Turriff last week.

Reserve – Robert Marshall, Strathurr, Glenrinnes, Dufftown, with a September-2012 born Galloway heifer on her first outing. Blackcraig Bertha was bought in Castle Douglas for 3,400gn. She is by Blackcraig Rasputin and out of Blackcraig Bertha.
Cross: Craig and Gordon Hendry, Heads of Auchinderran, Keith, with home-bred 15-month-old Limousin cross heifer Pip Squeak. She is by Spittalton Barty and out of a cow which won the National Show in Ireland and was bred by James Alexander of the Jalex herd. She was third at the Highland and stood young farmers’ champion at Turriff.

Reserve – Grant Morrison, Newtack, Grange, Keith, with home-bred Limousin cross heifer Nice N Spicy. She is by Haltcliffe Donny and is a full sister to Lady Moo Moo which was bought by Blair Duffton and Rebecca Stuart at the Thainstone Spectacular last year for £3,800 and has had several show wins this season. She will be sold at this year’s Spectacular.

Clydesdale: Ian G Young, of Wellheads, Clochan, by Buckie, with Arradoul Caol Ila, a two-year-old filly, sired by Collessie Stepping Stone and home-bred out of the reserve New Deer champion and first placed Royal Highland broodmare Arradoul Symphony. She was champion at Turriff.

Reserve – Norman Christie of Woodside, Kinnelar, with home-bred six-year-old yeld mare Anguston Amber. She is by Old Greenlaw Lochy and out of Anguston Amy. She was champion at Banchory, New Deer and Tarland, and reserve at Turriff and Echt.
Highland: Gordon and Ann Towns, Easdale, Turriff, with home-bred five-year-old yeld mare Tannah of Forglen, by Highfield Glen Affric and out of Hannah of Forglen. She was champion at Strathbogie this year and reserve at the Northern Working Horse Show and New Deer Show.

Reserve – Linda Moir, 41 Quarryhill, Keith, with nine-year-old gelding Diamond O’ The Glens which is by Laird O’ The Glens and out of Shevock Emerald Alder.
Shetland (standard): Margaret Stewart, Limehillock Croft, Grange, Keith, with April-2007 born Mill of Towie Gillian which is by Slacks Black Magic and out of Clashandorran Bramble.

Reserve – Christine Forbes, 1 Dullanbank, Dufftown, with May-2009 born Merkisayre Dally, which is by Kanterborgs Seagrams and out of Dryfesdale Dior. She was champion at Tarland on Saturday.
Shetland (miniature): N.S. Wilson of Mingulay, Alford, with May-2007 born stallion Mingulay Galaxy. He is by Whitehills Badger and out of Mingulay Buttercup.

Reserve – N.S. Wilson with the mother of the champion, which is by Tawna Sweet William and out of Moorfoot Little Mandy.

SHEEP
Blackface: Stuart Barclay, of South Road, Insch, with a home-bred gimmer by a £14,000 tup from Elmscleugh. She was reserve interbreed champion at Turriff and breed champion at Banchory and Black Isle.

Reserve – Stuart Barclay with a seven-year-old ewe bough at Lanark from the Allanfauld flock. She is by a £17,000 Netherwood and was on her first outing.
Bluefaced Leicester: Sandy Hunter with a ewe lamb by Tanhouse F2 which was bough in Hawes for £1,600. She is out of a ewe by Midlock Controversy.

Reserve – Matthew & Carolyn Milne & Sons, Kennieshillock Farm, Lhanbryde, with a G6 Firth shearling tup, which was bought for £3,200. He is by E1 Hugo and out of a Firth ewe. The Milnes share him with the Allanfauld flock.

Suffolk: Andy and Susie Simpson, Wester Coxton Farm, Elgin, Moray, with a home-bred two-crop ewe by Lakeview Leeroy and out of a Burnside ewe. She was third at Nairn and second at the Black Isle.

Reserve – Chales and Ian Young, Bareflathills Farm, Elgin, Moray, with a two-crop ewe by Speyside Single Malt and out of Glenhill See The Stars.
Texel: Jemma Green, Corskie Farm, Garmouth, Fochabers, with tup lamb Corskie Whopper, which was bought while inside her mother at the Christmas Classic last year. He is out of a Milnebank ewe, which is by Teiglum Tornado and her sire is Glenside Valhalla. He placed first at Echt and Tarland and was male champion at the Black Isle.

Reserve – Keith Ingram, 2 Balloch View, Grange, Keith, with a home-bred gimmer by Clarks Update and out of a home-bred ewe by Deveronvale Sunshine.
Charolais: Eilidh and Erin Duncan, Braemuir, Auchnagatt, Ellon, with home-bred ewe lamb Braemuir Princess, which is by Riverdale Noble and out of a Cannahars ewe.

Reserve – Eilidh and Erin Duncan with a home-bred gimmer called Braemuir Orla. She is by FFRWD Lord of the Ring and out of a home-bred ewe called Braemuir Flash.
Beltex: Ross and Kirsty Williams, Upper Tullochbeg Farm, Huntly, with a gimmer called Blackjack Whisky. She is by the 2011 Royal Highland Show champion Loandhu Percy Pig and out of a previous show gimmer called Blackjack Speyside, which is by Ballydown Magnus.

Reserve – Zoey Rennie, 4 South Street, Newmill, Keith, with a two-shear tup which is shared with the Williams and Bruce Mair. Quarrymount Tremble was bought at Carlisle for 2,000gn.
Jacob: Adam Christie, Birchfield, Midtown of Glass, Huntly, with a home-bred gimmer called Penny. She is by Blackbrook Dragon and stood champion at Nairn, New Deer and also Grantown last year.

Reserve – Jennifer Milton, Newton of Auchindachy, Drummuir, Keith, with one-crop ewe Cairdswood Millie, which is by Burnside Evril and out of a Montcoffer ewe. She was reserve female champion at the Black Isle.
Zwartbles: Samantha Stewart, Buttery Brae, Drummuir, Keith, with home-bred gimmer Janetstown Beldie, which is by Aquila Action Man and out of a Cynefin ewe.

Reserve – Jim, Linda and Taylor Mair, Hollies Seaview, Dunmore, Beauly, with home-bred shearling tup Hedgefield Bonny Boy. He is by Coulraich Sebastiaan and out of a Brotherstown ewe. He was champion at Sutherland.
Any other pure breed: Thomas Jackson, Boghead, Lumsden, Huntly, with home-bred 2011-born Vendeen ewe that has been shown since she was a lamb.

Reserve – W & J Brown, Hilton of Culsh, New Deer, Turriff, with an Oxford Down shearling tup which stood reserve male champion at Turriff.
Half breeds and crosses: W & J Brown with a two-crop Texel cross ewe, which is by a home-bred Texel. She was shown with lambs at foot by a home-bred Texel.

Reserve – Colin Scott with a ewe with twin lambs at foot.
