Pupils at Albyn School in Aberdeen have been finding out about the importance of financial planning.
The expertise delivered during the Discover Fortunes event was provided by Granite City chartered financial planner Anderson Anderson and Brown Wealth.
The workshop, held in conjunction with the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII), focused on the finances of five people at different stages of life.
The pupils worked up suitable financial plans for each of them.
AAB chartered financial planner Simon Glazier said: “We are committed to financial education and so we were delighted to support this event, which was enthusiastically received by the students.”
CII education relationship manager Caspar Bartington added: “Discover Fortunes is a valuable activity for students to learn more about key financial products that they need to understand once they have finished their education.
“The blend of a fun, interactive event, with insight from local employers, offers students the chance to learn and make potentially valuable links for their future.”
