The cHeRies Awards 2017, in association with Robert Gordon University’s Aberdeen Business School and supported by Mattioli Woods, is seeking entries for next year’s event, now in its tenth year.
Entries are now open to find successes and examples of excellence in the fields of human resources, recruitment and training in the north east of Scotland.
One of the nine categories that of the awards that are now open for entry is the Extraordinary HR Initiative.
The award, sponsored by Nexen Petroleum UK, recognises individuals or a team who can show evidence of a creative and innovative approach to HR.
Nominations in the category will offer examples of a new initiative – or initiatives – that were designed and successfully delivered in the last year.
These could include projects in a number of areas in the field such as compensation & benefits, IT, acquisitions/integrations, employee engagement, etc.
Success in the category will based on evidence given that the initiative has delivered a measured effect on the business and its people, and has contributed to the organisation’s competitive position as an employer.
Last year the Extraordinary HR Initiative 2016 award was scooped by the Everything People Team at Wood Group.

“It brought back a lot of memories and was a fantastic reminder to pat ourselves on the back.”

Submissions for the awards’ categories are welcome until 6 February.
The main event, the cHeRies Awards 2017 take place Thursday 1 June at the Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre.
