Keith FC assistant boss Michael Brown has taken on a new role as operations director of north-east firm Clarke IT.
Mr Brown has worked for Clark IT, based at Auchterless, near Turriff, since 2013.
The newly created post of operations director is part of a move to put all of the company’s business under one banner. Mr Brown will handle its day-to-day service delivery to clients and manage projects including improvements and operational strategy.
Managing director Austen Clark said: “As we grow our portfolio, it’s important to have the right people in place. Michael has an extensive skills set and is a great leader of the engineering team, dedicated to its personal development.”
Clark IT specialises in providing cybersecurity, cloud services and IT support to small and medium-sized enterprises in a range of different sectors across Scotland.
The company was originally set up to help farmers handle their accounting and manage their cattle.
It has traded from its present site – the former Towie Tavern between Turriff and Fyvie – for the past 15 years, becoming Clark IT in 2010.
