In excess of 38,000 people visited Offshore Europe this week, an increase of 3,000 on the 2017 event.
The oil and gas industry flocked to P&J Live in Aberdeen for the four-day show, with delegates arriving from 119 countries.
Attendance was up from the 35,000 visitors who were at the biennial event two years ago. However, it failed to reach the lofty heights that preceded the recent oil downturn.
The exhibition and conference drew 55,000 people to the former Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre in 2015, while a record 63,000 attended in 2013.
Organisers hailed the “noticeable positive energy” at this year’s event as the industry emerges from its downturn.
