Comedian Tim Vine will bring a mountain of nonsense, daft one-liners, joyful songs, wobbly props and ridiculous humour to Aberdeen and Inverness next year.

Not only is Tim the only person who has won the Best Joke at the Edinburgh Fringe award twice, but he also held the Guinness World Record for the most jokes (499) told in an hour for a decade (2004 – 2014).

And now, the popular funnyman has announced he’ll bring his new show Breeeep! to Aberdeen’s Tivoli Theatre and Eden Court in Inverness next year.

Tim has also appeared in seven pantomimes and his stand-up has been performed as far afield as Australia as well as in Canada, USA and China.

Comedy lovers could have spotted Tim on Live at the Apollo, and Celebrity Mastermind, and he also hosted the ITV gameshow Don’t Blow The Inheritance.

Doug Taylor, of local promoter Mint of Montrose, said: “What a treat for comedy fans in our favourite wee corner of the world to have the brilliant Tim Vine back with a brand new show and to have the chance to see one of the very best one-line pun-bandits around in their local theatre.”

Fans can look forward to hearing a brand new series of quick-fire one-liners and puns when Tim Vine brings his new show to Aberdeen’s Tivoli Theatre on Tuesday September 12 and Wednesday September 13.

He will perform at Eden Court in Inverness on Tuesday September 5.
