The Press and Journal have been given a behind the scenes look at Shrek the Musical in Aberdeen’s His Majesty’s Theatre.

See the things you don’t get to from costumes designs to instrument set ups.

Based on the story and characters from the Oscar-winning DreamWorks Animation film, this hilarious and spectacular production turns the world of fairytales upside down in an all-singing, all-dancing, must-see musical comedy.

Join Shrek, played by Steffan Harri and his loyal steed Donkey as they set off on a quest to rescue Aberdeen’s very own Laura Main as the beautiful Princess Fiona from her tower, guarded by a fire breathing love-sick dragon.
