You are invited to Aswanley, a secluded wedding venue in the Aberdeenshire hills.

If you are getting wed in 2019, then this beautiful fortified house on the banks of the River Deveron could be the perfect location to say your vows and celebrate with family and friends – whatever size your guest list is, from intimate family gatherings to a large wedding parties of up to 300 guests.

Before you take this important decision, why not join Aswanley’s in-house wedding coordinators Lauren and Sarah on Sunday 14th October for a relaxed Open Afternoon between 12pm and 4pm? As well as meeting Lauren and Sarah – who have already helped dozens of couples’ dreams come true – you will get exclusive access to Aswanley’s multiple ceremony locations, each dressed in different styles, so you can visualise how your special day could look.

You can discuss your catering requirements with the teams that come highly recommended by Aswanley, before checking out the spacious Victorian barn.

The barn is the ultimate place to celebrate.  It is made up of three interconnecting rooms with the fireplace room at the centre, a spacious dining room and a ballroom. The rooms can be styled as much or as little as you want, and unlike other ‘blank canvas venues’ the hire fee includes everything you need to stage your wedding.

Have a walk around the gardens and see what the possibilities are for outdoor ceremonies, entertaining and photography. Then enjoy tea and cake in front of the fire.

“The open afternoon is an opportunity see Aswanley in the autumn,” says wedding coordinator, Sarah.

“It is such a romantic venue for an autumn wedding – the wide variety of trees makes the landscape glow with rich colours and inside our baronial fireplace sets the scene for warming drams and ceilidhs.”
