Who: Following drinks on the terrace overlooking the Dee and a warm welcome from Grampian Food Forum committee member Peter Walker of Meldrum House, director Carol Fowler and general manager Robbie Mitchell of Banchory Lodge Hotel, guests sampled a variety of tasters presented in a busy street market theme, complete with a busker.
Why: More than 80 guests took the opportunity to participate in the networking evening, which is aimed at promoting greater use of local produce in the region’s hotel and restaurant menus while providing a forum for chefs to meet with producers to build relationships and explore opportunities to work more closely together.
