Bob Servant, Hero of Dundee and Bard of Broughty Ferry, has spent 10 years answering the problems of his many fans around the world. Finally, after repeated requests, he distills his unique philosophy into one compelling volume of wise advice. No subject is off limits as Bob Servant acts as your unique guide to a truly wonderful life.
Although I’m not a huge fan of the Bob Servant TV series, I found myself laughing out loud several times thanks to the outrageous advice Bob doles out.
For example in response to a query about whether to join a gym or not, Bob warns against it, describing gyms as being largely run by frustrated policemen and failed Nazis, along with a confession that he’d been banned from Broughty Ferry’s Dreamboat Muscles gym for no reason whatsoever.
Turn the page, however, and there’s a staff incident report form from the gym which paints a hilarious picture of what really happened.
With a good mixture of advice, cartoons, letters, e-mails and texts, there’s plenty within the pages of this book to make you giggle.
