What would Eddi Reader do at the weekend?

How would Scottish musician Eddi Reader spend her dream or hell weekend?

When does your weekend start?

I don’t really recognise weekends – more so now that my children are out of school. I notice a Friday night audience is different from a mid week audience, but that’s just my super sensitivity.

Perfect night in?

Good food, good story (thriller) on the telly, warm hoose.

Perfect night out?

A sparkling stage production in a small theatre, or an evening in mid summer chasing the sunset over Argyll, usually 10.30pm in west Scotland.

Ideal weekend partner?

My family or friends.

Favourite weekend shopping destination?

I never go shopping but rummaging through antique book shops or vintage clothing shops thrills me, I do also get excited about art shops.

Favourite place to walk?

Kelvingrove Park, in Glasgow’s west end. I’ve been going to that park since I was a little girl.

Weekend you’d love to live again?

Any weekend that had my now departed dad and gran still here. I hope I see them again.

Weekend you’d hate to live again?

Any that have me or my loves being ill or hurt or broken hearted.

Perfect Sunday breakfast?

Potato scone, veggie sausage, slice of black pudding and tomato sauce.

Your cure for the Sunday blues?

Playing my guitar all the way out of it.

Your dream weekend (if money was no object)?

Fly off to see my family in America – bring them back.
