Make 2017 the year you Change Your World

In times of political, economic and social unrest it can be easy to fall into a bit of a negative slump. But a new event is coming to Inverness in April, designed to improve not just an individual’s mind and body, but the world around them too.

Change Your World aims to give people the tools to live a happier, more fulfilling life. And with a whole host of speakers, exhibitors, workshops and opportunities to build lasting connections, attendees are bound to find what they are looking for (and some things they never knew they needed).

A spokesperson for the event said: “This is set to be the Highlands’ first and largest personal development/ health and wellbeing event.

“We wanted to provide an opportunity for people to transform their lives. We’re absolutely passionate about helping people to become the best version of themselves – as Abraham Maslow said, ‘what a person can be, they must be’.

“We all want to make a difference in the world, but we make the mistake of thinking it has to be some massive, selfless act. The key to changing the world is just simply to change ourselves and become the very best that we can be.
“As we say, if you change yourself, you will change your world. If you change how you think, you will change how you feel and what actions to take and so, the world around you will change. Changing yourself changes everything.”

The spokesperson continued: “The speakers and exhibitors we have lined up are all doing amazing work and we wanted to bring them together under one roof so attendees can learn how to overcome barriers that hold them back.”

Throughout the day, the theatre at Eden Court will be the venue for a wide range of speakers, including the UK’s leading Lifecoach, Pete Cohen; Ben Smith, who recently completed 401 marathons in 401 days; and Neil Shah, the leading expert on stress management and wellbeing.

The Change Your World conference will expose you to the cream of the Personal Development world, allowing you to absorb brilliant new ideas, attend numerous workshops to help you reach your full potential. There will also be extended breaks throughout the day for attendees to connect with each other, as well as find the professional support they need to transform their lives.

And in the evening, there will be workshops that include the 10 key steps to happier living with Vanessa King, how a positive mind can heal your body with Dr David Hamilton, a masterclass in meditation with Buddhist monk Gelong Thubten (who recently coached the cast of the Doctor Strange movie) and top nutritional advice with Executive Fitness Foundation’s Iain Bell.

Change Your World is also a great place for health and wellbeing professionals to network and make connections with people in the same field. If you are involved in personal development and health and wellbeing, you need to be at Change Your World.

The Change Your World spokesperson added: “Change can often be scary, challenging and difficult, but you don’t have to make huge changes, it’s about taking baby steps each and every day and simply improving on yesterday, which soon leads to amazing, life changing results. So for anyone looking to make changes in their life, they need to be at Change Your World.

“As well as the benefits on the day and the inspiring information attendees will receive, the personal and professional connections made will continue long after April 7. There is no doubt we will see a ripple effect of positive change.

“Anyone looking to make changes in their lives needs to be at Change Your World.”

Early bird tickets are now on sale for a limited time and cost just £87, which includes access to the entire day’s sessions, workshops, lunch and networking events. (Offer Ends 5th February.) Evening only tickets are available for £34.
