New development is a winner for luxury house builder

Kirkwood Homes has been recognised at an illustrious national awards ceremony for its Westburn Crescent development in Aberdeen city centre.

The luxury house builder won in the Best Small Development category at this year’s Homes for Scotland Awards.

Boasting traditional granite facades, the nine residential units consisting of three three-bedroom apartments and six
five-bedroom townhouses overlook the stunning scenery of Westburn Park, located within the Granite City. This level of luxury combined with ideal location led to the development selling-out fast.

Kirkwood Homes’ managing director Colin Crombie said: “We are delighted to be recognised by the industry for our quality, contemporary build, particularly since this year’s awards attracted a record number of entries.

“It has been almost a decade since Kirkwood Homes took on a development in Aberdeen city centre, and I believe the fantastic response to the Westburn Crescent development and the recognition of our award is down to the large amount of work undertaken by our team in designing and constructing this stunning development.”

In addition to the Best Small Development accolade, Kirkwood Homes was also commended for its St Leonards development at Stonehaven, under the Best Medium Development category.

Mr Crombie continued: “Not only winning an award but being commended for another enables Kirkwood Homes to stand out within the industry as a high-quality house builder. Combining our quality build with the ideal location is something we look to continue to provide our customers in the future.”

Homes for Scotland represents around 180 private home building, Registered Social Landlord and associate member companies which provides 95% of all new homes built for sale in Scotland each year.
