A leading north-east property leasing firm has been presented with an Award of Excellence by Booking.com for the consistent high quality of its serviced apartments.

Aberdeen Property Leasing (APL), which has been operating in the north-east for more than 35 years, was awarded a 9.4 rating by the booking website after receiving an abundance of positive feedback from its clientele.

Packed full of all the mod cons including TV with comprehensive Sky package, free unlimited Wi-Fi, Bluetooth music system, and an added bonus of all electric, broadband and bills included, Booking.com’s clientele were delighted with their APL short stay.

Comments from the website included: “All the home comforts”, “Lovely apartment, pleasant staff, good location”, “Very impressed with the service” and “Excellent facilities, clean comfy and better than a hotel.”

The 40 exclusive Aberdeen apartments, which are all predominantly west end and city centre based, were launched by the leasing firm in 2013 as the company recognised a demand for short stay, corporate and private use accommodation in the city.

With the continuous rise in hotel prices and thousands of visitors passing through the city each year, the demand for alternative accommodation is high.

Serviced apartments not only offer individuals a little piece of home while away on business, but for companies, they provide the ideal solution when tracking down hard to find or costly hotel rooms in the centre of town.

David Lamb

Sales director for APL, David Lamb, said: “We are delighted with our star rating from Booking.com as it truly emphasises our service offering and the level of quality we provide to our clients.

“Many of our apartments tend to be larger than hotel suites, with more amenities including a fully equipped kitchen and unlimited Wi-Fi, adding a touch of home comforts for our customers.

“These added extras make all the difference when visiting Aberdeen for a short stay and this is visible through the feedback we have been given.

“Serviced apartments are rapidly becoming very popular in the city, with many people and businesses looking for an alternative to hotels.

“With various business and oil exhibitions held in Aberdeen, we often have a number of business travellers and as the apartments are situated in convenient locations, exhibition visitors can easily explore the city and access transport links.

“Offshore Europe is only a couple of months away and hotel rooms in the city are already hard to come by.
However we have a large selection of apartments to choose from that are still available for lease that week.”
